Flavour of Nature's Zephyr I.

This multi-coloured painting features vibrant bouquets of flowers that bring the essence of the garden to the interior. This piece evokes the gentle breezes of Zephyrus, the Greek god of the west wind known for his mild nature. He is especially known from Botticelli's painting Aphrodite as he carries Psyche. Zephyrus was instrumental in realising the love between Psyche and Eros. The aim of this artwork is to infuse your home with the fragrance and good luck in love.

Painted in low relief (bas-relief) using a special technique that almost looks like an impasto. Sarah created this original technique almost twenty years ago. Her paintings are also often sunken reliefs, typical only for works of art from ancient Egypt.
