Artist statement
“Flow” aims to capture the shifting currents of rising waters during a crabbing expedition at Warnbro Sound. Inspired by the patterns infused on the water surface, Sarah Thornton-Smith attempts to capture the nuances and multi directional patterns of energy of the reflecting light, and colour in the cuts and folds.
