The phoenix is transformed into an "ideal" that is beyond the reach of contemporary people. It seems to be true or unreal, real and virtual, floating in the center of the picture forever, floating in everyone's heart, flickering and lingering.
Hundred birds around the Phoenix, struggling to reach the top "bird", full of frustration, sadness and disappointment, pain and chagrin.
