Artist statement
Abstract oil on canvas (2023) created to complement modern and contemporary interiors.
In this oil painting, a harmony of emotions flows from my brush—vibrant orange hues inspire a sense of warmth and reflection, while bold swathes of purple evoke mystery. The horizon blurs, inviting you to find your own meaning in the abstract, and imbuing your space with a profound, contemplative energy.
Nature has always been my main point of reference. I paint from memory, I'm more interested in creating the atmosphere and the emotion I felt when I was in a specific place.
