In this work, Sponge BOB is yelling, "THEY LIVE, WE SLEEP", which is a famous quote from John Carpenter’s film “They Live”. Snipe 1 is trying to awaken the people’s conscience by this artwork, reminding them that their lives are being manipulated by the authority, and we should raise and fight against it.
