Artist statement
The inspiration for the work comes from the light of nature, the textures of trees, the grass, etc. These textures are a big part of my work. The motif obtained from natural objects is a substance that accumulates my life and inner emotions, revealing the timeliness.
The material of the work is made by repeatedly attaching various geometric forms to the canvas with silk, creating a space, and making the threads that have been applied with jesso and acrylic paint solid through several coloring and drying processes. At the end of this work process, finally, make a colored surface with oil paint and repeatedly superimpose the surface to create an afterimage of light.
