Artist statement
I am Kim Yeong-ok, who majored in painting at Hongik University's Graduate School of Fine Arts in Korea and is expanding the scope of the artist by challenging various experiments. Attach the objet silk to the canvas to explore the texture and light of the thread. These works lead to an artistic sense of light, life, and relationships, leading to emotional purification and reflection.
The inspiration for the work comes from the light of nature, the textures of trees, the grass, etc. These textures are a big part of my work. The motif obtained from natural objects is a substance that accumulates my life and inner emotions, revealing the timeliness.
