Artist statement
The power of storm clouds rolling over a landscape like a chariot has been a source of great fascination for me this past year. The perspective we have on these phenomena can alter drastically depending on where we are. Seeing a storm from a distance shows us a different version of the chaos that would totally envelop us were we in the middle of it. From far away we see the clouds, the rain, and the wind for what they are, simply a part of nature.
