The Creek.
The creek played music and the sunlight danced.
Leaves in the water carried messages from the trees.
The banks became narrow from trunks so close they could whisper.
Clouds grew and nature prepared to dance in the rain.
These versus are the titles of four of my paintings created together for 'The Creek' series. This work means a lot to me, I’ve been visiting this creek all my life and although it’s suffering from the pressures of development, it is surviving and providing life to an entire ecosystem. It’s a special place. Although the work is presented in four panels, each panel is available individually.
