About the art
Artist statement
The work is inspired from life itself. It represents the dull and colorless moments and days of our lives in the form of foliage and flowers in monochrome and the radiant subject in warm yellow that balances the color of the composition single handedly. The subject -'American Goldfinch' represents sunshine in our lives. Sometimes we have to fill light and hope in our lives despite how dark or dull it may seem.
