Artist statement
Bird in Focus- The Yellow Eared Toucanet. Ethereal series is about bird portraits. It is a
delicate study on each bird with a balanced background. The idea is bring out the
uniqueness of each bird with colours and textures. With current changes in
environment some of the birds have gone extinct and some are in the endangered
list. The purpose is to capture the beauty of those distinct birds in contemporary
compositions.
