Artist statement
Bird in Focus- The Fiery- billed Aracari. One of the most colorful tropical birds having bright bills with serrated edge. Ethereal series is about bird portraits. It is a delicate study on each bird with a balanced background. The idea is bring out the uniqueness of each bird with colors and textures. With current changes in environment some of the birds have gone extinct and some are in the endangered list. The purpose is to capture the beauty of those distinct birds in contemporary compositions. Made in 2019
