Artist statement
Macaws are the most prominent birds of Amazon Rainforest. The work features two large Macaws, both known for their spectacular color and beauty. The' Hyacinth Macaw' and the 'Red-and -green Macaw 'are very popular macaw species which are portrayed with tropical blooms reflecting the beauty of flora and fauna in the Amazon rainforest. Red and blue being the predominant color in the subject of the painting, sets a unique contrast with the background. To balance the broad spectrum of colors in this painting has been a challenging experience that makes it such a captivating composition capturing the true essence of the Amazon Rainforest.
