Artist statement
The work captures the true essence of rainforest which is home to some spectacular bird species on earth. It features the precious parrots of rainforest – the ‘Golden parakeet’ and the ‘Blue headed parrot’. The vibrant parrots paired against a lush green backdrop creates a display of rich variety of colors. The broad spectrum of colors in the plumage of parrots makes it more prominent among the exuberant foliage of rainforest.
