About the art
Artist statement
The work captures the true essence of rainforest which is home to some spectacular bird species on earth. It features the precious and largest parrots of rainforest – the ‘Great Green Macaw’ and the ‘Hyacinth Macaw’. These vibrant macaws paired against a lush green backdrop creates a display of rich variety of colors. The broad spectrum of colors in the plumage of parrots makes it more prominent among the exuberant foliage of rainforest.
