Artist statement
My painting of Wistman's Wood, Dartmoor. Wistman's Wood is a small ancient woodland, made up of twisted trees and mossy boulders, it feels like something from a fairy tale. I tried to capture its mysterious, magical energy.
This painting is ready to hang in a simple but elegant black stain wood frame, as pictured.
