Let the Titanic fly for a while

Born in 1987 in Shenyang, Liaoning Province, and now living in Beijing; Su Yu has spent his life a professional painter training under masters of the art, culminating in his unique mixture of collage and scenic mastery. While engrossed in his studies of the old masters, his specific way of portraying the group scene and still life has led to this distinctly gritty, yet sometimes playful approach to the characters in his paintings with aspects of mondern life and a charactature/portraiture mixture leading to his wide catalog of work.
