Artist statement
In creating the second series of this piece, I embraced the raw textures and natural chaos of the materials. Using oil, spray, pigments, and plaster that evokes the rugged yet delicate beauty of the natural world. The textured surface is meant to reflect the imperfections and fleeting moments in nature, capturing a sense of both decay and growth.
