About the art
Artist statement
This original landscape painting is inspired by landscapes near my home where trees edge the horizon and buildings nestle quietly in woodland. In the evening the sky turns a deepening blue as darkness falls. Created with lines etched into the hand applied and sanded plaster surface with washes of colour.
Acrylic and plaster on cradled birch plywood panel.
The sides of the painting are painted off white.
Ready to hang.
