Artist statement
On a dark background, symbolizing eternity and depth, the delicate, translucent wings of a butterfly unfold. The fine texture of white brushstrokes conveys its fragility and lightness, like a breath of wind. The slender antennae add elegance, emphasizing the natural harmony of the lines. However, a golden crack runs through the painting - a symbol of resilience, inner light, and beauty that emerges from imperfection. This element evokes the Japanese art of kintsugi, where fractures transform an object into a work of art.
The painting invites the viewer to reflect on the beauty of vulnerability and the strength hidden in ever y oment of life.
