About the art
Artist statement
Against a deep, almost endless black background, the wings of a butterfly softly emerge, created by translucent shades of grey and white. Its shape is a symbol of fragility and grace, as if it were floating in space and time. The Silver stripe cuts through the darkness, like a crack in space, illuminated from within. It does not destroy the painting, but on the contrary, brings light and harmony, showing that beauty is always hidden in gaps and imperfections.
This work continues the theme of overcoming and inner light, conveying the balance between the fragility of life and its hidden strength.
The painting took part in the 2022 International Exhibition “12 Months of Joy”, Rimini, Italy.
