'Rainwalking' is a painting that captures the beauty and charm of a metropolis on a rainy day. The fast pace of the city is somewhat checked by the rain and mist, the architecture all but grey silhouettes against the blue-greyish sky -- overall, the painting creates a surreal atmosphere. The impressionist painting uses wash techniques to create a magical environment, smoothening all the harsh edges and contours of city life into an all-melting, mystifying experience. The yellow cabs stand out against a greyish background, creating a focal point in the painting.
