About the art
Artist statement
Inspired by recent wildfires that stroked Australian forests and the Amazon, the artist needed to talk about one of the main environmental issues that our Earth is facing today: Wildfires, deforestation, and consequently climate changing. In a second meaning, she also wants to indirectly imply our deteriorated way of living, starting with the overconsumption of everything to the exhaustion of Earth's resources. In the foreground, the dried leaves give, hopefully, a concrete and palpable element of this crisis to everyone. At the same time, the artist insists on showing the beautiful colors of nature that cannot be erased.
