About the art
Artist statement
This abstract landscapes' composition is mainly influenced by rice terrace aerial views, mountainous terrains, and underwater caves. The main blue hues are cut softly by warm lily pads and floral decor while gold line work tie them together.
The painting uses a typical landscape and distorts foreground and background where layers go back and forth when you zoom in and out of the painting.It also touches on themes of luck, nature, and good fortune. There are several references to the number 7 within the painting. The design and patterns are influenced by Japanese kimonos and Japanese print making.
The painting will come with hardware to hang.
