Passage Through Time captures the quiet elegance of a narrow archway leading to a timeless street. The stone walls, softly worn by years gone by, frame a path bathed in gentle light, guiding the eye forward through layers of history. Faded tiles and aged bricks speak quietly of lives once lived, passing conversations, footsteps echoing, and the calm that now settles in their absence.

I'm drawn to these quiet spaces where the past and present overlap. The wet plate collodion process brings a natural softness and texture to the image. Subtle imperfections, smudges and softened edges mirror the slow erosion of time, inviting stillness and offering a moment to pause and reflect on the steady rhythm of life that once filled these streets.

This photograph is not about the grandeur of history but about the smaller, quieter moments that linger long after. It is a place where time feels slower and every corner holds a quiet story waiting to be noticed.
