The Indefinite Series is tinted oil color with gradient tones moving inward and outward, with a damar varnish / semi-gloss sheen.
Each piece reminds me of the emerald green ponds, streams and waterfalls up and down the eastern United States that is covered in forests.
This piece was first painted with texture under layers that you can see through the oil paint. Then with two types of green oil and three types of blue, it is rapidly brushed back and fourth to combine with a brush. This piece is 3/4 inches deep on hand stretched canvas, signed and dated on the back by the artist.
