Artist statement
Water falling in the Florida wetlands. Florida's primary natural landscape is composed of the ocean (water), the weather (the sky), and tropical vegetation. I have been focusing my photography on scenes of the Everglades and other subjects of natural beauty, particularly in Florida, to focus attention on its fragile, ever-changing beauty and the important role we humans play in the formula. My art seeks to impart a minimalist style and composition to the landscape to emphasize and rejoice in the delicate, underlying balance inherent throughout our natural world.
