I Always Want to See More #21

I often think of my practice as a kind of dialogue with the outside world, in which I try to visualize the inner experience – the emotions stemming from the observation of my surroundings and its dynamic character – and reflect it back in a condensed and minimal visual form. In my few recent series of paintings I’ve been focused on the idea of time – its passing, rhythm and cyclical nature – but I try to think of every painting as a way of rediscovering that interaction with the world through emotion and observation.
