Starry Night City

Artist Tran Tuan created this painting with his inspiration about how he felt when standing in a big city at night, bustling with lights, under a deep blue sky full of twinkling stars. Two opposing arrays: one is nature, the eternal universe, the other is the man-made world of mankind, mixed together. That creates a magical scene. Artist Tran Tuan was born in the war, so he found this beauty different from the city scene in the dark night of war and the night sky lit up with trails of anti-aircraft artillery shells and surface-to-air missiles. Sadly, the sky of war is still present in Ukraine and so many children are still afraid of bombs in the dark and in the sun.
