About the art
Artist statement
Artist Tran Tuan created this painting with the inspiration of his feeling about beauty of sunlight over an old quarters of the city. It is the light that sparkles on the old tiled roofs, on the old walls with different colors of reflections. Interspersed with those rich colors are blue skies and the vibrant colors of merchandise and billboards. Moreover, there are the colors of people and heavy traffic. It is an impressive sight.
