About the art
Artist statement
This is the third painting in the series Dramatic composition. It has been featured in my solo exhibitions in Rovaniemi and Oulu, Finland in 2020. As with all the paintings in this series, the feel of movement and dynamics play an important role, the sharp lines concerning the spread watercolour and the delicate line of the crayon are, in my view, a significant intensity in this work.
