Butterfly Eyes is a part of the provocateur collection by Tyler Shields
storyboard notes: Butterflies with Ali Collier this photograph took over a month to make and over 23 butterflies. When I started this I had no idea the process of getting a butterflies wings to open without destroying them, also all the difference in size shape color and type of butterflies, I also had to find the right size face and look for the photo and time it with when the wings would open which took 5 days in a custom humidity box we made. Also, I shot this on a large format 8 by 10 camera.
