Artist statement
In the future, everything will be brand-named. We consume brand names like the air we breathe. When researching this photo, I found the vintage cereal ads and I loved the use of color in them. The idea that we display this beautiful world only made better by cereal, so for the idea of creating a fake high fashion cereal ad, Chanel of course came to mind. This was a tough one to get right as the right red had to be used to give the exact feeling I wanted. Finding a hat, table, background, and dress all in the same red took 3 months, but it finally came together.
