I always loved the red Ferrari when I was a kid. My favorite race car driver drove a Ferrari and I also loved watching Magnum P.I. So, there was always the idea to do something with a Ferrari. When I finally found the right one, I started shooting a small series with it. I always knew it would be lit on fire as the final shot. When I originally had the idea for the photo, I had no idea I would end up shooting it on an IMAX camera. But, things always end up how they are supposed to. I can't thank IMAX, Kodak, and Panavision enough, for their support in making this happen. This shoot truly was a total group effort, as it took nearly eight months of prep, for a shot that lasted only eight seconds!
