Artist statement
A story can be told over a lifetime or in a single frame. 2 Glasses of Champagne smashing together is how the universe was created. This was something I wrote many years ago in a script I was writing -- cut to I was on set shooting and I remembered the quote. I finally made the photo that goes with the quote. Obviously, I know that is not how the universe was created, but there is something magical about imagination.
