My central theme, or rather my recurring motif, is the clothed, sometimes costumed human body. I work in series that draw inspiration from the works of my artistic role models, such as Sandro Botticelli and the studies of Leonardo da Vinci. Yellowing, cracks, and injuries enhance the visual appeal as traces of the past. I strive to capture this aesthetics through over-drawing, over-painting, and collaging.
