Artist statement
Contemporary Visual Artist Vafa Majidli in this original Artwork expresses her true love to Sunflowers. From childhood she was looking at Vincent Van Gogh's beautiful "Sunflowers" and was inspiring to crate her own oil on canvas Sunflowers. Why 11? Because 11 is one of the strongest sacral numbers and this number came to to her mind intuitively. Maybe it's because she was born on 11th? Who knows:)
Sunny yellow flower with illuminating shades shows us how the Sunflower can give us positive feelings and remind us about our lovely summertime. Juicy green leaves luxuriously feet in a cobalt blue vase on a dark brown table. Background is very pleasant because of the english mint color (she captured the same mint color as Van Gogh).
This is realistic Art with deep concept of inner Summer, memories of joyfulness and carelessness.
