Artist statement
In a continuation of the “On Colour" series; playing with natural, brown and blue colours relating to chequered cloths. With a directional movement of strokes the play of colour unites the piece and creates a bustling scene on the surface. With marks of scrapped paint woven like stitches on the fabric canvas base.
This painting has a 1 cm brown cap frame. The canvas size is 92 cm square and with 1cm frame makes dimension 94 x 94 cm.
