Artist statement
What I am looking for cannot be found at the surface, it is necessary to dig deep within ourselves and through persistent search find what is unique. This is how individual recognizable language and expression are formed. Art consists in creating objects that have a formula of their own creating a dialog that did not exist before.

Velimir Vukicevic graduated from the Academy of Applied Arts, Belgrade, Serbia 1974 and completed specialization 1976. from 1974 to 1992 he was a free- lance artist. In 1992 he was elected as professor for ceramic sculpture at the Faculty of Applied Arts. he is member of IAC-AIC Geneva.
