About the art
Artist statement
My work is inspired by the color of Caspalá. Caspalá is a village located more than 3000 meters above sea level in Humahuaca, Argentina.
The different perspectives and the three dimensionality of the cooper pieces give a sense of warm harmony and modern aesthetics.
The fine bark pieces are carefully finished with a museum quality varnish.
My work measures (50 x 50 cm) measures in total 57 x 57 x 5.7 cm. It is framed, signed on the back and ready to hang.
My wall sculptures from the Dorada, Cobre, Roble and Carbon series have been shortlisted for the international Rise Art Prize 2018, London, UK.
