Artist statement
A magnificent forest near home inspired me in my work "Inmensidad" (Inmensity). Just like in nature, every little bark piece is important for the entire artwork.
The different perspectives and the three-dimensionality of the cooper pieces give a sense of warm harmony and modern aesthetics. The fine bark pieces are carefully hand cut and finished with a museum quality varnish. My work is framed, signed on the back and ready to hang.
My work (100 x 100 x 4.7 cm) measures in total with the frame 107 x 107 x 5.7 cm.
The Dorada, Roble, Cobre and Carbon Series belong to the same series of three dimensional works. My wall sculptures have been shortlisted for the international Rise Art Prize 2018 in London, UK.
All my works are sent with a Certificate of Authenticity and hand written thank you card.
