Artist statement
My hand painted work "Las cuatro soñadores" (The four dreamers) -composed by Quimera, Inspiración, Azul and Magenta- is inspired by vibrant and bright colors as a way of inmersing oneself in joyful dreams.
This painting is one of a kind and somehow is connected with my wall sculptures -Roble and Carbon Series-. Lines that fall perpendicularly and create a three dimension feeling when work is observed from the side.
It is finished with a museum quality UV protection varnish and ready to hang.
Each piece (50 x 50 x 3.7 cm) framed measures 57h x 57w x 5 cm. The artwork with all four pieces (Quimera, Inspiración, Azul and Magenta) measures in total 114 x 114 cm.
