About the art
Artist statement
Cargo port on the Dnieper River in Kyiv. View from the Rybalskii Bridge. I am always interested in industrial landscapes. In my opinion, there is no less picturesqueness in them than in the types of nature. Industrial landscapes often have a wide variety of shapes, rhythms, complex structures, and a lot of color. Stations and bridges were fond of painting by the Impressionists. And I also really love ships, barges, port cranes. This work uses high quality art materials. Painting was carried out using different brushes and a palette knife. Due to this, a complex colorful texture is achieved. This landscape was presented at the exhibition "Around Us" (2017) in the exhibition hall of the Union of Artists in Chernihiv.
