Artist statement
This is the sister piece to 'Blue Jay Way'. Made together as a pair. But alone this piece that takes the pop iconography of The Yellow Submarine and twists it until we recognise where we began but see that now we've moved on. Now its form, line colour is of abstract art with a resemblance to the Yellow Sub.
This is a nod to The Beatles and the influence they had that still permeates our pop culture.
