Artist statement
Title : 'Timeless'
Several colourful abstract pieces appear to within a rugged frame that has become part of the artwork. The reclaimed timber for the frame has cut to allow the continuation of colour bands. This brings a compelling otherness to the idea of 'a frame'.
The art pieces sit together harmoniously in shape and colour. They vary slightly in height of float for the white back board. The overall feel the piece has is of a play between depth and shade. The shapes cast their shadows within the frame adding an extra dimension to the sculpture.

Depth: 1.5 inch (4cm)
A single recessed keyhole slot is installed on the back, so the piece is ready to hang with just one screw in a wall. The keyhole hanging method also allows the piece to hang flush and secure to the wall.
I have signed and dated the artwork on the back.
