Artist statement
This is one of Wei Ligang’s famous Peacock series. Wei uses a series of circular lines and gorgeous colors to describe the beautiful scene of a peacock spreading its tail in an abstract and expressive approach. It is not only full of motion, but also vitality of life. The combination of gold and ink is Wei Ligang’s signature color.
