Artist statement
The paintings exhibited in this exhibition use black contour lines to enhance the illusion of depth, and the figures and islands are more simplified and symbolized than before.
I believe that each of us needs an "islet" to represent our future. Either a small or a big one can be a focus to build our own lives.
