Artist statement
Life is like a journey... as a Chinese artist living for more than 20 years in France, this feeling of travel is ingrained in me. From Shanghai to Paris, here or elsewhere... wealth and beauty everywhere. There are ups and downs in life as on the road, good weather and bad weather, but there is always light and a rainbow somewhere! An artwork that speaks of hope, the Philippians 4 Bible verses in Chinese calligraphy add depth to this painting. It is a meditative artwork, contrasting with vibrant colors, rich in textures and subtle details, it is 4cm thick, ready to hang on the wall.
