About the art
Artist statement
The presence of a woman in the moon intertwined with the memory of the blossoms that once adorned the stem. The mirror, a symbol of the full moon, captures not just her likeness but also the poignant essence of what has been lost—a metaphor for the inevitable cycles of presence and absence that define our existence. Just as the moon waxes and wanes, so too do the chapters of our lives, each ending giving way to a new beginning. This image invites us to embrace the transient nature of life with grace and equanimity, finding beauty in the impermanence that surrounds us.
* Photographs printed on Hahnnemüle 308gsm museum quality paper with a white border of 3cm, comes with a Certificate of Authenticity (COA) signed and numbered by the artist. Shipped in a tube with specific artwork materials. Frame and mat not included.
