About the art
Artist statement
In the context of globalization and the rapid development of information technologies, we have witnessed the emergence of new forms of community that are no longer restricted by the physical boundaries of states or cities. These communities live in their own “information bubbles” - virtual spaces in which interactions and identity are not tied to geographical location or political affiliation. People connected through the internet form so-called “clusters” based on interests, views, beliefs or professional activity.
Information bubbles not only support various forms of cultural and social isolation, but also reinforce the polarization of society. The more a person becomes immersed in their online communities, the more difficult it becomes for them to leave these bubbles.
